I’m Art, a freelance photographer based in Bakersfield and I have  a passion for capturing life and other meaningful moments  with my camera.

You’ll most often find me along the race course, whether it’s a 5K, half marathon, or full marathon with camera in hand, chasing that perfect shot of determination, celebration that every runner has at some point.  I simply love the energy of a race day and the stories that unfold with every step.

I also enjoy photographing life, where the smiles are real and the love can be felt thought the photo.

But I'm not defined by the world I see behind the lens, I’ve spent over 20 years coaching collegiate cheerleading, and that passion for teamwork, energy, and performance fuels how I approach photography. Whether it's catching the peak of a pyramid or a finish-line fist pump, I'm always looking for the story in the moment.

When I’m not at a shoot or on the sidelines, I’m hanging out with Theodore, my playful 7-year-old German Shepherd and loyal sidekick.
